Levenshulme: Community Matched Funding

David Boyd May 30, 2012, 15:30 PM

Levenshulme has been selected as one of 600 areas in England to receive Community First funding and local groups are being invited to apply for funds for community activities in Levenshulme. We will receive £33,910 over the next three years. Up to £5624 will be available over the next year to be spent on activities making Levenshulme an even better place to live.

Olympic themed events are eligible, even though the Torch comes through Levenshulme on 24th June! “We are looking to support small starter projects and get people going”, says Pauline Kavanagh. Groups can apply for anything from £250 - £1,000 each. But get your ideas together soon and submit them to the Panel by 9pm, Sunday 10th June 2012.
