I would like to thank Dewi for all his time, efforts and patience with my Mum when she decided to put her house up for sale to move near us, her family in a little bungalow. Unfortunately she had to pull out due to personal reasons & I never got chance to speak to Dewi again personally to thank him & tell him we appreciated everything he did & how quickly he managed to get a buyer for my mum. With my mum being elderly I was the one inbetween dealing with transactions things like that. Dewi kept us up to date & was very understanding of my Mum’s situation. They are polite, attentive and provide an excellent service. A small office in Salford they work from but they are a great team. You can speak to any one of them and they will give you help unlike some agencies who leave everything exclusively to one person and feign ignorance when they choose not to help even though they could if they wanted to. The information Peter Anthony provides concerning the tenants and their terms of business is thorough and clear. I was really impressed with the amount of detail they went into concerning the tenants they provided me. They only seek quality tenants and not just any tenant that passes by. They want to make sure their client’s interests comes first the way it should be and not just ticking boxes and reaching targets. This shows how they go out of their way to provide a quality service. First time really writing a review, I’ve had to move to Salford to take up a new job, and the Salford branch of Peter Anthony have been brilliant and incredibly helpful! They’ve been very forthcoming when it came to viewings, undertaking references and corresponding with the landlord along with the inventory process and were more than happy to answer my queries and questions as a first-time renter. I’ll particularly mention Yaseen (who arranged the viewing of the place, let me know about the availability of the place I was looking at, along with humouring many of my questions and doing a lot of the process paperwork for the tenancy) and Lewis (who was kind enough to hand over keys to the flat on a Saturday when I was there and answer my questions on the day).Renting is a nightmarish process (along with everything else at the moment), but the staff at the salford Peter Anthony were very kind and helpful and are an example of what it really *should* be, they made it very painless and I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for somewhere to rent in Salford, they were very forthcoming and helpful throughout the process! 🙂

We initially got 4 Estate Agents to Value our property. Working within small local independent businesses ourselves we felt it very important to work with a small independent rather than a larger corporation even if their resources would be more.Sitting down with all 4 agents after the valuation viewing I got the sense for minute 1 that Peter Anthony were the ones for us.Tom came to conduct the valuation and immediately felt at ease with him. No sales jargon no pushy “we’ll do this we’ll do that”Our house was visible on their app within hours of instruction and on right move a couple days later.We knew immediately via the app when and how many viewers were coming.Jamie conducted the viewings and walked round with the prospective buyers answering with clear knowledge any questions that were asked.It was a protracted sale due to either end of our chain but none of this was to do with Peter Anthony and I could tell towards the end that Jamie was getting as frustrated as we were but all we could do was remain calm with a bit of humour thrown in (mostly from me) to see it over the line.Peter Anthony were involved in both sides as the were representing our vendors too.Communication was always quick and to the point.We would thoroughly recommend using these in the future.Thank youJamie, Tom and all those involved we now live in a work site but will be a dream home shortly.

I chose Peter Anthony as my estate agent, as I liked the idea of an independent estate agent and after meeting Tom, I felt I could trust this company with the sale of two houses. It was a bit complicated with selling 2 houses to be able to buy a bigger one to live in. The sale of one house went very smoothly, there was no chain involved, the other one was in a chain and things got a bit complicated with a long wait of many months to get to the completion stage and move house. Tom was really helpful and clear on what we could expect and we felt so comfortable to sell with Peter Anthony that our photos were done by the end of the same week. The listing was live within a few days and by the end of that day we had multiple viewings booked. These were booked at times that suited us and in a way that suited us (we wanted to be present). There were some unexpected bumps in the road, the first being the global pandemic and secondly having a few issues getting responses from the sellers solicitor but Jenna and Cara went above and beyond time and time again for us. They have sourced good reliable tenants – no problems whatsoever (so far touch wood!), and manage everything efficiently whilst keeping me informed. My wife and myself used Peter Anthony Levenshulme branch recently to sell our house. We had a couple quote of agents in the area and what made choose Peter Anthony (all fees were very similar) was the online reviews and Rachel who came round our house intitally. She has a very friendly and enthusiastic manor, which was true of all the staff. She also made it feel like she was selling a home and not a house. Additionally, we found all the staff at Peter Anthony extremely helpful and extremely positive and friendly. As well as Rachel, Jamie was extremely helpful and was always available for advice and updates. Also, on the day of exchange both Rachel and Jamie were chasing other agents and solicitors for us. Gill was our initial contact at the valuation stage and we dealt primarily with Rachel once the house was on the market. Viewings were arranged quickly, they got plenty of prospective buyers through the door, and basically did exactly what you’d hope for from an estate agent – e.g. giving advice on which offers to accept and which to ignore, and giving reasons why. Once sale had been agreed they did what they could from their side to keep us updated when necessary and put our minds at ease during the stressful periods. Overall, I’d thoroughly recommend them.

I purchased a property via Peter Anthony and they were good when showing me the property as they pointed out some damp and were very transparent. They were also friendly / direct as well as accessible – much more than their biggest competitor in Levenshulme (Edward Mellor), who you could never get through to them!In addition, I didn’t get gazzumped when a higher offer was put in – though of course I don’t know if was them or the vendor being fair. Also they responded to all queries promptly. The only friction was due to delays in contracts being exchanged, but the vendor was out of the country and I’ pretty sure this was due to him. Moving home is always stressful and quite frustrating. Our experience with Peter Anthony was good although at the beginning we found some unprofessional experiences (they mixed up with the identities of the different people that were moving into the property generating different troubles with credit checks, etc) and quite slow response related with the state of our application, considering we paid the deposit and agency fees the same day our application was accepted. However, Laura Turnbull, who was dealing with our case, has showed a friendly, polite and really patient attitude with us. I personally felt sometimes really frustrated and disappointed with the delay of the process but finally she sort everything out for us.

Tom has been extremely helpful in dealing with one or two issue which have cropped up since then and has established a very good working relationship with the tenants which has taken much of the burden from me. I am pleased that we have them as our managing agents.

I was originally introduced to Tom Kimber by my daughter, who had recently purchased a house from Peter Anthony and found what is usually a daunting and stressful experience, quite the opposite. I was looking for a new tenant for an apartment that I own in Davenport, and following the recommendation from my daughter, arranged to meet Tom. Within 2 weeks he had found a suitable tenant, and negotiated a fair rent for both parties, and took care of all the paperwork, including advising the utility companies.
