The area also hosts the historic Stockport Lacrosse Club, founded in 1876 and recognized as the oldest in the world . There’s a huge array of different property styles in Davenport. At one end of the scale, you’ll find sprawling mansions with gated driveways, acres of land and several reception rooms and bedrooms; and all for an impressively reasonable price.

Adjacent to the park is Stockport’s cricket ground which also hosts the Stockport Lacrosse Club. The club was founded in 1876 and is the oldest lacrosse club in the UK; they are also thought to be the oldest lacrosse club in the world!
