
Mortgage availability increased for a third consecutive month, with the number of products on offer rising by 45 to 7,177 in June.
The market continued to recover following widespread product withdrawals earlier in the year, although there were still 307 fewer deals available than at the start of March.
The average two-year fixed rate fell from 5.14% in April to 4.81% in June, while the average five-year fixed rate dropped from 4.98% to 4.65% over the same period.
