Davenport Introduction

Stockport is a great place to live in, but with the property market booming, some people are being priced out of the town. However, houses in Davenport, (situated to the south of Stockport town centre), are currently highly affordable, enabling buyers to get a lot more for their money.

It’s a good area to call home too, with proximity to all of Stockport’s amenities and attractions, not to mention some attractive suburban streets that are ideal for house-buyers of all ages. There’s also a real sense of history in the area, largely thanks to its heritage, when it was once the home of the Davenport family, who owned nearby Bramhall Hall. This historic ambiance is evident in the variety of period properties on the market, which are always sought after by people moving to the area.

If you’re looking for a place with a strong sense of community, whilst remaining in the heart of a thriving town, then Davenport might be the ideal location for you.
