In the UK, students in the private rental sector spend an average £568 on their share of rent a month, a total household rent of £1,468.

Covid-19 will affect some decisions but 59% of students already at university secure their accommodation for the next academic year by the end of March and 27% get sorted before January. Source: Dataloft, Knight Frank, HESA
