This quarterly Opinion Poll tracks sentiment in the housing market, based on the experience of estate agents across the UK.

With mortgage rates falling and markets expecting another interest rate cut in November, 61% of agents say buyer confidence is significantly or slightly improved compared to three months ago.

45% say transaction levels have improved on a quarterly basis however 42% report that they have remained the same. Although market conditions are improving, the upcoming Autumn budget may be creating some uncertainty.
