Nearby Cale Green Park, a formal Victoria style park has recently been awarded the Green Flag Award. The Park provides great facilities including: bowling green, tennis courts, children’s playground, basketball court, etc.

Adjacent to the park is Stockport’s cricket ground which also hosts the Stockport Lacrosse Club. The club was founded in 1876 and is the oldest lacrosse club in the UK; they are also thought to be the oldest lacrosse club in the world!
