The festive season is in full swing, but some might have heard a few too many Christmas tunes already!

More than 1 in 5 renters would pay a premium for noise insulation, making this the third most desired feature after parking and pets.

This feature was most sought after by younger renters (18-24) living in flats, with 43% willing to pay more. This is likely as flats often share more walls with neighbours than houses.

While many renters value the sense of community renting can bring, having peace and quiet to work at home or relax is also desired. Source: Dataloft, Property Academy Renter Survey 2022
