Levenshulme
Levenshulme Introduction
If you think Levenshulme is just a place to pass through on your way from Stockport to Manchester city centre, then think again. The local housing market proves that this area is fast gaining popularity, with people of all ages keen to call it home.
Once a town in its own right, Levenshulme was absorbed by Manchester back in 1909, and it hasn’t looked back since. Much like the rest of the city, it’s been subject to some serious regeneration in recent years, and now boasts several hip bars, cafes and restaurants, not to mention some great independent shops and markets.
Although it’s rapidly becoming a hotspot in the city,
property prices are still appealingly affordable; something that families,
young professionals and older couples alike have noticed. Perhaps its this
diversity that gives Levenshulme its close-knit, community feel, despite being
a part of one of the UK’s largest cities.
