The Manchester College
This is a further education college based in Manchester. It opened on 1 August 2008, as the result of a merger between City College Manchester and Manchester College of Arts and Technology to form an 80,000 student 'supercollege. It is the largest provider of "Offender Learning" in the Greater Manchester region, as this area was inherited from City College Manchester
Moston Campus is based on Ashley lane, Moston, M9 4WU and has an excellent reputation for creative programmes, particularly in art and design, fashion and furniture crafts. The centre also offers courses in hospitality and catering, automotive studies and construction. Most courses offered are vocational but students on advanced level courses will have the opportunity to complement their main programme by studying one of the four AS/A Levels offered at this centre.
